Is this the same as being covered by the news?
No. Your release is published on news websites through newswire distribution, usually in press-release or business-news sections. A journalist choosing to write about you is earned coverage, which no one can guarantee. We are clear about the difference so you can use your placements with confidence.
What does “NBC, CBS and ABC affiliate sites” mean?
Local TV stations affiliated with those networks run news websites that carry syndicated press releases. Your release appears on those station sites, not on the national networks’ homepages. Your proof page lists every site by name.
Who writes my release?
We draft it with AI assistance using your brief and website, then an editor reviews every fact, quote and claim. You approve the final version.
What if I don’t have any news?
Most businesses have more than they think: a launch, a new service, a hire, a milestone, an award. If you’re unsure, tell us what’s happening and we’ll suggest an angle. Credibility Plus includes a founder Q&A feature that doesn’t need a news hook.
Can I use the badge on my website?
Yes, that’s what it’s for. It says “Published on” and links to your proof page, so visitors can check it themselves.
Timing & results
How long does it take?
We send your draft within two business days of your brief. After you approve it, publication typically completes in two to four business days, and your proof page follows.
Will it improve my search rankings?
It gives search engines and AI assistants accurate, structured information about your business and gives you credible pages to link to. We don’t promise rankings, traffic or AI recommendations.
How long do the links last?
Most stay up indefinitely, but publishers control their sites. We check every link at 1, 30 and 90 days and republish or replace any that go down in that window. We also archive each placement when it goes live.
Payment & policies
What is your refund policy?
If we can’t produce a draft you’re happy to approve, or a distribution partner declines your release before publication, you get a full refund. Once a release is published, the publication can’t be undone, so we don’t refund published orders. We do replace links that fail within 90 days.
Do you serve Canada?
Yes. We serve businesses in Canada and the United States. Prices are in US dollars, with applicable GST or HST added at checkout. French versions are available as an add-on.
What won’t you publish?
Adult content, weapons, gambling, crypto offerings, political campaigns, unsubstantiated health claims, regulated financial products, and anything misleading. See our standards.
